Instructions for redemption of waste batteries

The following notice is aimed at those who use batteries or products with built-in batteries and in the delivered form not resell (end-user):


1. Gratuitous withdrawal of waste batteries

After the battery law (BattG) batteries may not be disposed of with household waste. They are therefore obliged to return used batteries law. We are a distributor of batteries to take back waste batteries required (except for devices with built-in batteries), with our repurchase obligation limited to batteries of the type that we introduce as new batteries in our range or has led, as well as to the amount, which is end users typically discard.

Batteries can therefore sufficiently franked either return to us or submit it directly to our warehouse free of charge at the following address:

2. Significance of battery icons

Batteries are marked with the symbol of a crossed out wheelie bin (see below). Contaminated batteries are specially marked with chemical symbols. For batteries containing more than 0.0005 per cent of mercury, more than 0.002 percent by mass cadmium or more than 0.004 percent by weight lead, is under the garbage can symbol the chemical name of the particular pollutant - where "Cd" for cadmium, "Pb "stands for lead, and" Hg "for mercury.
